Friday April 03, 2009
FLAME-SIM is happy to announce that the Allen Fire Department of Allen, Texas has purchased six seats of the FLAME-SIM software for use in their progressive fire training program!
Training Chief Jonathan Boyd has been using the software for approximately four months and has used the software to train on everything from dispatch and fire ground communications, operations and tactics, and NIMS compliant, incident management skill development.
Doug Seebach, VP of Simulations for FLAME-SIM, stated "Jonathan has been one of the key Training Chiefs using FLAME-SIM. He has been a visionary in the effective use of the software and his ideas are being adopted by a number of our incoming clients. It has been an absolute pleasure working with such a professional".
Jonathan Boyd, Allen Fire Department Training Chief, stated "The Flame-Sim software allows us to expose our incidents commanders and company officers to realistic scenarios which would be difficult to recreate with traditional training. The ability to repeatedly simulate emergency operations and multi-department operations prepares our incident commanders to make the right decisions when it matters most."
We are excited to get the continued feedback from their department staff, as they strive to improve their fire ground efficiency and incident management skills through training with FLAME-SIM.
